Gather all ingredients
Fry kuey teow with sweet soy sauce
Heat oil separately, sauté minced garlic and 2 red chili slices until fragrant
Add fish balls, shrimp, and squid, cook for a moment
Add water as much as you like, then add oyster sauce, white pepper powder, and chicken stock
Bring the soup to a boil
If you have, add bok choy or mustard greens and tomatoes, cook for a moment
Stir in cornstarch water until thickened
Beat 3 eggs in a bowl and pour them when the soup is about to thicken
Add a few drops of sesame oil for aroma
Serve fried kuey teow with the kuay teow lak (thickened soup) over it, garnish with fish balls, eggs, shrimp, vegetables
